Research Basis

Evidence level: Preliminary to Moderate

Acoustic measurements of ancient sites are well-documented (Jahn & Dunne 1992, JASA). A preliminary study by Cook et al. (2008, n=30) found EEG pattern differences at 110 Hz compared to 90 Hz and 130 Hz controls. The relationship between specific frequencies and consciousness states remains an active research area. Whether vocal toning at these frequencies reproduces architectural acoustic effects is unknown.

Quality Gates

Before output is finalized:

  • Vocal warm-up included before any toning
  • Maximum 5 minutes continuous toning per frequency
  • Volume and hearing safety prominently displayed
  • All archaeological sources cited with evidence levels
  • "Suggests" language used, never "heals" or "activates"
  • Grounding between frequency segments (standard/deep)
  • Listening-only variation provided for accessibility
  • Medical disclaimer present

The stones remember the frequencies. We're learning to listen again.
