Examples
Foundation practice at 110 Hz:
/archaeoacoustic-toning "110 Hz exploration" --depth foundation
Standard two-frequency session:
/archaeoacoustic-toning "King's Chamber frequencies" --depth standard
Deep multi-frequency exploration:
/archaeoacoustic-toning "sacred site frequencies" --depth deep
Practice Structure
Progressive engagement with each frequency:
| Phase | Duration | Activity |
|---|---|---|
| Listen | 60 sec | Absorb the frequency |
| Hum | 90 sec | Body becomes resonator |
| Vocal Tone | 90 sec | Active sound production (vowels) |
| Harmonics | 60 sec | Subtle overtone exploration |
| Silence | 30 sec | Integration after sound |
Key Frequencies
| Frequency | Site | Source | Evidence Level |
|---|---|---|---|
| 110 Hz | Multiple sites | Cook et al. 2008 (n=30) | Preliminary |
| 117 Hz | King's Chamber, Giza | Jahn & Dunne 1992 (JASA) | Moderate |
| 139.01 Hz | Saqqara step pyramid | Smith et al. 2023 (EVA) | Preliminary |
Research Basis
Evidence level: Preliminary to Moderate
Acoustic measurements of ancient sites are well-documented (Jahn & Dunne 1992, JASA). A preliminary study by Cook et al. (2008, n=30) found EEG pattern differences at 110 Hz compared to 90 Hz and 130 Hz controls. The relationship between specific frequencies and consciousness states remains an active research area. Whether vocal toning at these frequencies reproduces architectural acoustic effects is unknown.
