Archaeoacoustic Toning Example

A complete example demonstrating the Hyperhumanism & Sound Consciousness skills lifecycle for vocal toning at sacred site resonant frequencies.

The Skill

PropertyValue
Namemorning-resonance
Purpose15-minute beginner archaeoacoustic toning at 110 Hz
TraditionArchaeoacoustics (Jahn & Dunne 1992, Cook et al. 2008, Smith 2023)
EvidencePreliminary (small-sample EEG/fMRI studies)

5-Phase Structure

Based on Carl Hayden Smith's archaeoacoustic practice framework. Each phase builds on the previous:

PhaseDurationFocus
1. Listen60 secHear the target frequency (recorded tone)
2. Hum90 secClosed-mouth humming to match the frequency
3. Vocal Tone90 secOpen-mouth toning at the target frequency
4. Harmonics60 secExplore overtones emerging naturally
5. Silence30 secRest in resonance, notice after-effects

Research Basis

Evidence level: Preliminary

Cook et al. (2008, n=30 fMRI) found 110 Hz tones shifted prefrontal cortex activity toward right-hemisphere dominance compared to control frequencies. Jahn & Dunne (1992, JASA) documented 117 Hz resonance in the King's Chamber at Giza. Smith et al. (2023, EVA London) documented 139.01 Hz resonance at Saqqara. All studies are small-sample and require replication.

Safety Review: Passed

  • Evidence honestly labeled as "Preliminary"
  • Volume limit enforced (max 85 dB, living-room conversation level)
  • Maximum 5 minutes per frequency segment
  • Hearing condition screening included
  • "Suggests" language throughout (never "proves")
  • Grounding anchor before and after practice
  • Not a substitute for audiological or medical care
